Jim McClelland is the founding editor of sustain' – the only dedicated magazine for sustainability and business in the UK. He heads up the 40-strong Editorial Board, drawn across UK business and industry, for which an annual Symposium Dinner is hosted at the House of Commons.

Jim has been involved with environmental conferences such as 14 Days to Save the World, Defra and UK Climate Impacts Programme and the Great Green Debate and acts as a judge for the Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards, Dalsouple ‘Transform the Future’ design competition and the IPA Magazine Design Awards.

Graham has over 30 years experience in the furniture industry and has been with Senator for over 20 years in various roles. Since 2004, he has been a part of the systems team, assisting with maintenance of the company’s ISO 14001 standard and other environmental work. Graham has since implemented ISO 14001 at two of Senator’s sister companies, Allermuir & Plan-It welding services. In 2005 Graham initiated Senator’s waste minimisation programme and has assisted in implementing these systems throughout all Senator departments.

With a Degree in Environmental Science and post graduate studies in Environmental Protection Todd has a strong technical background across a wide range of disciplines. Todd’s first role was as the Environmental Manager for Lanstar, a chemical waste and oil recycling company, this included work in the US and UK automotive industry on demand side management projects. Since 1996 Todd has worked within range of partnership roles, delivering environmental business support programmes in England’s Northwest leading ENWORKS since 2001. Todd has also lectured on Environmental auditing, resource efficiency and partnership working in the UK, Poland, Germany and the Ukraine.

Nick Hedges,

Nick Hedges is a Chartered Engineer with 20 years’ environmental and energy consultancy experience. During that time, he has advised and supported many organisations in both the public and private sectors, on topics including environmental and energy auditing, acquisition and divestment, waste arisings and waste minimisation, energy, water and material efficiency, air pollution control, technical policy guidance and environmental best practice.

Claire Brown has over 6 years experience in Environmental Business Advice and has worked as a Senior Environmental Business Advisor for Groundwork Pennine Lancashire since September 2008.  Prior to this she was an Environmental Consultant within a private consultancy in Manchester City Centre.  Claire has a Masters degree in Landscape Planning and Management from the University of Manchester.   

Keith Davidson

and Head of the Environment Team, Pannone LLP

Keith advises on all areas of environmental law, in particular climate change, sustainability and contaminated land issues. He is an Environment Commissioner for Greater Manchester and is currently working with Manchester City Council to coordinate climate change action with Greater Manchester’s business leaders. Keith has a Masters degree in Environmental Law from SOAS, University of London and is an Associate Environmental Auditor with IEMA as well as a Council Member for the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association. Jo works in the North West region for the Environment Agency and she is based in Warrington.  She has been working on a variety of pollution prevention topics for over 20 years and has helped to develop many best practice guidance documents. She enjoys taking part in workshops with industrialists so that she can continue to learn from their questions and the good practice ideas that they have applied on their sites.

Dr. Tim Daley

Dr Tim Daley
Regional Climate Change Co-ordinator, Northwest Climate Change Partnership - Environment Agency

Tim has worked exclusively in climate science research for 6 years and remains an honorary research fellow of Swansea University and invited lecturer at University College London. He now serves a partnership of public, private and third sector organizations - the Northwest Climate Change partnership - through the Climate Change Unit to promote and co-ordinate climate change adaptation activity in the region. Tim has lead responsibility for the development of the Regional Adaptation Framework and also supports the secretariat for the Regional Climate Change Adaptation Group.
